Wired

The theme for this week's Illustration Friday is "Wired". I've always like this sketchbook doodle. I hope you do to. Leave a comment or two if you want.
"Whenever I'm wired, I like to do the crosswords and mellow out."

Nice linework. It kind of reminds me of and H.R. Giger drawing

very nice style. Clean with nice inking. The tubes add a nice steam-punk aesthetic while the costume is pure Astounding magazine cover.

It reminds me a little of Seth Fisher, only not so scary.

Is that a NYT Sunday, for which she needs that thinking cap?

Thanks to both of you for stopping by and leaving a comment.

Arkon - I love steampunk and am putting together a comic in that style.

This reminds me of a character in my Night Tracker comic. She has to wear this odd looking helmet because her corpus callosum was severed in an accident, the helmet helps her function. Anyway, really cool pic.

Nice stuff, indeed, Steev! I read it as 'weird' at first, which of course it was, but 'wired', lol, makes more sense!

Hope all is going well.

Hey...you should do a comic about a guy who opens a wild bird store and doesn't pay his bills.

Correction: So what does $1,529.80 supposed to mean?

This is fun.

OK, it's not really. It is interesting though. I love it when someone intentionally avoids getting to the point.

If anyone is actually reading this - I once owned a wild bird and nature store that ended up going bankrupt. Things like that happen to small businesses and when it does the suppliers get screwed. That's business. It's unfortunate but it is a reality. Things like that happen in big business as well for amounts much greater than $1,529.80. Just be glad you weren't a supplier for Enron. (or worked for Enron for that matter)When it became apparent that my business wasn't ever going to come back out of the hole I had to go bankrupt and some suppliers didn't get anything out of it. They all were given notice of the trial portion and could have come in and pled their case before the judge but no one did that I'm aware of.

It sucks but that's what happened. Not all businesses make it. If they did, everyone would run their own.

Are you sorry? You see, like the Enron victims, it really hurt my family and you didn't have the courage to return my calls.

Sure I'm sorry and going bankrupt was never meant to hurt anyone personally. I simply could not pay everyone off and had to go through the court. Why didn't you go to the hearing? Who are you anyhoo? Why wait until now, about 10 years later to say anything? Just curious. Not much I can do about it now.

This is not March 2007 it is really November 4th 2008. It just looks like it was written back then. See?
