I'm a part time cartoonist. My work has been published in childrens magazines, comic books, newspapers, magazines and role playing games. I'm always available for commisions. Look around and maybe leave a snide remark or two.
This is recycled blog art but it fits the Illustration Friday theme "Red" pretty good. Not my favorite picture but I think the hair turned out really neat. What can I say? It's a sketchbook piece.
This week's Metal Church features the band Rammstein (one of my current favorites) and a caricature of their keyboard player Christian "Flake" Lorenz. Flake always seems to be the whipping boy for the band so I picked the video Seemann because it shows Flake in all his glory. Enjoy.
This is the sketch challenge entry for the week. The subject was "The Escape of Weapon X" or sumpthin' like that. Follow the Ten Ton link on this page and check out some of the other entries too. This is a good one - best challenge in a while!
Fandamonium (A local comic/sci-fi/anime convension)asked me to draw a poster for their upcoming dance and this is what I came up with. It's pretty fun I think. Unfortunately, After I drew it they announced the theme would have to do with fairy tales. I don't have time for another soooooo here's some fairy tale robots, I guess. Check out the Fandamonium site. There's a link on this page.
This week's Metal Church sermon is by Black Sabbath and their song Heaven and Hell. Sabbath has had several lead singers and various band members but one thing has always stayed the same - lead guitar by Tony Iommi. HE is the sound of Black Sabbath. Check 'em out:
My pic is sort of rushed this time. I'm going to be out of town for the next few days but I wanted to get something in, even if it's rough. I may come back to it on another day and fix it up right. (Oh yeah, he's a lefty.)
I haven't had time lately to do the Ten Ton Challenge but I worked one in this week. It's not my best and I'm not too happy with it but what the heck. It's Loki from the Thor comics. He looks way too young. Maybe this is "Teen Loki".
